1972 Buick Gran Sport

The Buick Gran Sport represents the pinnacle for Buick muscle cars. The highest performance 1970 version outperformed the venerable Hemi 'Cuda, according to a Motor Trend magazine test. And of course the outcome of this contest is still debated to this day by Mopar fans. Though detuned slightly from the 1970 version, because of emissions and insurance requirements, this 1972 Gran Sport is still a very capable performer. The car is named "Bob" after its previous owner. The current owner, Ken Davis, helped Bob rebuild the motor and restore the car to its current stunning condition. Unfortunately Bob passed away in 2012 and Ken became the "caretaker" of car. He has kept "Bob" in splendid condition and has taken it to many shows where it has done very well.
